Beaver's win home opener
HOPKINS-The Network Guidance Beaver's picked up where they have left off over the past two summer seasons with a 10-9 victory on Monday, April 26, 1999. The Beaver's are the two-time defending champions of the league and won the first game of the season in dramatic fashion by scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

MINNETONKA-The Beaver's secured corporate sponsorship for the second straight season, after finishing the 1998 campaign with an overall record of 21-4, a summer league championship and a fall league runner-up trophy. Free Agent Acquisitions
MINNETONKA-The Beaver's have picked up the rights for and are proud to annouce the additions of John Weber and Chad Durgin for the summer season. John comes to us from a rival league team and he is looking forward to opening the season against them. Chad comes to us from the St. Olaf intramural leagues and we are happy to promote him to our level of play.
