This was a very close game at the end, but the Beaver's had to fight up hill the whole game. Brooksbank struggled on the mound and was relieved by Hovde after 3 innings, who came in and pitched 4 innings, giving up only 1 run. The game was finally won in the bottom of the seventh; the score was tied, a runner on second and 2 outs. Aldrich was able to smack a single through the infield to win the game.

The game was tight through the first 5 innings, but then the defense closed up and the bats went to work to put up a couple insurance runs. Kolt Ringer started the game game a little shaky in the field, due to his week off, but came back and played brilliantly. Brad Brooksbank also played well hitting 3 doubles and handling some tough throws at first base.
